Reap Goodness News in Sierra Vista

Interview on Cool-FM with Jeff Davenport

Today Reap Goodness was interviewed by local media newscaster, Jeff Davenport about our upcoming public food forest project, the Heartland Trial. He announced the upcoming event of volunteers assembling to construct the protective chain link fence on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:00 am. The food forest site is at 340 E Busby Drive, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.

We need many volunteers to make the work light and speedy. Are you interested in being part of this global reaching project? Take part in this first part of the good work and let us know you are coming. We wish to honor you right here so everyone knows how generous you are. Contact: cmanetta@reapgoodness.org

We are privileged to have been requested to be a Key Contributor, authoring a chapter to the book, Climate Adaptation: Accounts of Resilience, Self-Sufficiency and Systems Change. Our chapter defines the reasoning behind our work and describes the plan for trios of worker cooperatives healing the planet with rainwater storage, food forestry and environmental plantings for people and animals.

This good book went on sale on October 25, 2021 in time for the United Nations climate summit, COP26, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland in November, 2021.
